GUEST COMMENTS:

Jennifer Dow, January 2010
We did have a great time at the Cape adn did some much needed R & R.  It's beautiful down there.  We enjoyed a horseback ride on the beach.  It was nice to sleep in every morning and nap  a few times in the afternoon.  Loved getting up in the morning and having our coffee outside on the deck and looking out over the gulf.  Thanks gaain for a much needed vacation!

Kelly Shepard, Decenber 2009/January 2010  (Repeat Guests)
It was the best time we EVER had yet!  It was so great to hear the ocean all the time.  This was the first time we didn't see any dolphins.  The weather was awesome, but we did notice there weren't as many people there this year.  It was awesome!

Jan Mitcham, August 2009 (Repeat Guests)
What an awesome time we had!!!  The children and dogs had an absolute ball!  The Golden thought he had died and gone to heaven...so funny at first...watching those waves coming in and going out and having to bark at them a lot before he leapt and stayed in the water!  My kids LOVED the place.  They thought it was unbelievable getting to have their own room and bath.  They felt like they had their own haven.

We needed this trip and THIS beach.  SO relaxing, so unspoiled and onece again, the friendliest people I've ever met everywhere you go!

We got to go to the Indian Pass Raw Bar and just loved it.  Ate soooo much of the best seafood we had ever had.  We just can't wait to go back.  Also had some of the best Mexican food we ever had at Pepper's (Port St. Joe).  I took them to the Dockside Cafe for lunch as they were heading out on Sunday and they thoroughly enjoyed that too.  We had the dogs with us and they sat us outside, dogs and all.

It was a dream come true for us to get to vacation with our dogs.  I don't think there is a lace more like Paradise than the Cape, especially with you and Donna tending the nests there.  You really go all out to make us feel pampered and that is felt immediately.  My son (who loves to cook!) couldn't believe what a well stocked kitchen it was.  And my daughter loved the decor.  It was a huge hit all the way around.  We plan to do this every year!

Again, my hat is off to you and your attention to excellence.  Donna is just a doll and it was so good to see her again.  Thanks for EVERYTHING!

David Floyd, August 2009
WOW!  What an awesome time & a GREAT house.  We had the best time & I can't wait to get back to the Cape!  Our first visit there & it won't be our last.  We had everything we needed & more there...it was a truly a relaxing vacation.

I look forward to coming back & enjoying your place again.

Bobbie Cotton, July 2009   (Kansas City, MO)!
We ablsoluted loved itWe drove straight thorugh from Kansas City -- took us 19 hours including stops.

I treated the place as if it were mine.  It is so beautiful.  We do want to come back!!  I really like the shower on the porch.  I am surprised that all the units don't have this feature.

Laura Carswell, May 2009
We are back and unpacked...regrettably.  We had a great time and my in-laws loved it.  Dwayne, with "Book Me a Charter" had us as guests for 2 trips!  He is great and I would highly refer him to anyone.   He worked very hard with us and it was greatly appreciated.  We will use him again.

Dana McGowan, March 2009
Our trip to Cape San Blas & Barrier Dunes was unbelievable!!!  We had the most amazing time and we couldn't have asked for better weather.  It was in the mid to upper 70's the entire time, not a cloud in the sky or a drop of rain for the duration of the stay.  It was so secluded & made for the most relaxing trip we have ever taken.

The rooms were AMAZING. I t was very comfortable, had everything we needed and made for a nice home away from home.  The family dog enjoyed his stay too and being able to take him to the beach was soooooo fun.  He made may friends!  :-)  We will definitely be recommending this place to other family members & friends & will be back for sure.  I hate that our trip is already over & having such a wonderful time and a nice place to stay made it very hard to come back to reality.  Thank you for everything!!!!

Bob & Lynn Parker, Ashville, NC.   February 2009
We treated the condo as if it were our own...& we wish it were!! ......We arrived  home last night, happy, tired & safe.  Brrrr it's cold in Ashville & we miss the beach!  Next year we will stay longer ....

We ADORED Tropical Breeze...the amazing beach...the entire experience.  Everything was perfect for our arrival.  We eventually noticed a burned out deck light & Donna took care of that as soon as we called her.  In fact, Donna was just the best!) (NOTE from Wendy:  Donna is my lead person down at the Cape!  You will get her number with you check in directions & I have to agree, she does ROCK!)  She was available whenever we needed her (thankfully, not often!) and even hand-deliverd a phone card to up!  We totally fell in love with her sense of humor.......

The entire Barrier Dunes development is exceptional.  Thh grounds are perfectly maintained and the building exteriors were in great condition.  Teh entire place looks crisp and cared for.  Although far removed from the "beach house chick" airiness that I prefer, Barrier Dunes 7 was beautifully decorated and far lovelier than the photos portray on the website.  The ultrasuede sofas and chairs are perfectly suited to beach living.  The master suite was total luxury, the bead was as delightfully comfortable as our own and I truly appreciated the granite countertops!

This was our dogs' first trip to the ocean; in fact, it was our poodles' first experience around water of any sort other than baths and they had the time of their young lives!!  Barney's (10 mos) initial fear of the surf turned into a passion for chasing the sea foam.  Sacha (4 mos) quickly discovered digging in the sand was the greatest of all past times, then she found a giant hold that someone had dug and was in Heaven running around inside it like an Indy racer.  They met and played with several other dogs -- great fun for them and nice for us because we met so many lovely, interesting people, all dog people like us.  Bob and I were so impressed with the unspoken "dog owner's etiquette."  We were always asked, "Can your dogs play?" which was helpful because some dogs - our Suki the Shih-Tzu for example - don't play well with other dogs.

Hope you enjoy the beach shots.  We PROMISE we'll be back!
