I am very satisfied with my stay here.  I LOVE, LOVE the High-boy Adirondack chairs on the main deck area.  What a wonderful vantage point!  The pond was another very diverse ecosystem.  Incredible!

We’ve been coming here every year for 13 years (except during H. Michael) and happy to see the coast coming back. The beach nourishment is great.

What a treat to come to a place where the stove has level, working burners.  You have NO IDEA what crap we have been exposed to!  And, your knives actually are sharp!  Incredible!

Between Ft. Morgan/Gulf Shores, Alabama and here in Florida, we prefer Florida.  Keep up the good work!

We just got home from our third stay at Barrier Dunes, renting through Cape Escape. It was a wonderful stay as always. We have rented the same unit (Sea Breeze) every time because it’s our home away from home and because of its proximity to everything on property. It’s always clean, it’s nicely decorated, it’s pet friendly, and it’s so easy to work with Wendy and with Cape Escape.

We look forward to coming back again next year and we highly recommend them (but we don’t want the word to get out about how awesome the Cape is!)

What a great place to relax and unwind! We had an amazing time and couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. It was so convenient to have all of the beach accessories and household items provided, a definite first for us! Wendy was incredibly helpful and provided top-notch recommendations! Looking forward to visiting the Cape again soon!

The Cape never disappoints ♥️ spent 10 days this time and it was perfect!   Our golden loves the beach and jumping the waves….her 3rd beach trip!   The condos are well kept and clean. Great book of ideas for fun and food while enjoying the forgotten coast. Until next time…..

We had never been to Cape San Blas and not to the beach in October either. We will totally do it again! The area was absolutely gorgeous!

The rental was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill and the beach chairs and toys were perfect for us. We brought our dog and 2 daughters and had plenty of space in the condo and it was clean and only steps from the beach boardwalk. Totally loved this trip!

We had such a nice time in this place!  Clean and lots of little touches!!!  The unit is SO close to the beach and we loved waking up and going to bed staring at the ocean.  Nice community, nice pools and ponds.  5 stars!

You will make this location a yearly must-do vacation!  The condo is perfectly situated on a pond full of entertaining turtles, with plenty of grassy area for your fur baby to investigate!   It is just steps to the beautiful sandy beach that we have never found to be crowded.  With 2 pools available & a playground for children, there is plenty of variety when staying here. Our condo is always very clean, stocked with the basics that you have in your own home, and everything in good repair. Wendy does everything to assure your vacation is enjoyable and relaxing.  Many of the businesses in Port St. Joe and Apalachicola are very welcoming to our dog, which makes our heart happy.  We have come here every year since we found this jewel and will continue to do so.

We loved our stay at Cape Escape II. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and the condo is wonderfully relaxing. We’d love to do it again.
