A paradise for the entire family, including the furry ones. Excellent place to relax and forget about the stress of life. The house had everything we could possibly need and more. It is decorated nicely and kept really clean. Our dogs had a blast and we finally had the vacation we dreamed about it. We wanted a place to really rest, enjoy great views and be worry-free about our dogs because they were with us. It worked really great. The communication since inquiring, reserving, getting ready to travel and after completing the trip was 100% best customer service ever. Wendy is great, she kept us informed and she was open for any questions we might have. We are definitely going back and we have already told our family and friends about the place and posting great pictures on Facebook. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back. Great stay in Gulf Breeze. The unit was as described. Pictures were accurate. The view was great and only short walk to beach. The owner has equipped the unit with everything needed plus MORE! Easy booking and prompt response to all inquiries. Weather was wonderful-ready to return.

Just returned from another great week at the cape. We try to fit in at least 1 trip a year and luckily were here in April and again November. The area is recovering nicely lots of improvements and loads of things to do. We always enjoy long walks on the beach, trips to Apalachicola for Oyster City Brews and tasty treats at dog-friendly restaurants. Walking on Sunshine is always a comfortable, quiet, relaxing oasis. After 1 week of watching dolphins from the porch and strolling with the dogs down the beach I am looking ahead to our next trip.

We highly recommend Cape Escape Vacation Rentals if you would like a very relaxing vacation. This is our second trip to the Cape and we have already made a plan to come next year.

We had amazing sunsets every night. We loved being able to bring our dog for long walks along the beach, shelling, and playing ball. Wendy is very helpful and the townhouses are equipped with everything you could possibly need.

We had a great weekend at Waters Edge. I’ve stayed at a lot of rental houses on the Gulf and this one was one of the best prepared, well stocked kitchen supplies, plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, and great information book for all of the local and property details.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Gulf Breeze during fall break! It was in excellent condition and very clean. We typically prefer oceanfront for the views, however, the views from this unit were amazing as well with the palm trees and ocean just behind them. Very close to the beach. We will definitely book again, hoping to get back down next year for the 4th of July fireworks!

Cape Escape was very clean and well kept. We had a issue with a toilet but I texted maintenance and it was fixed the next morning. I appreciated having the large pot for doing crab or shrimp boils. I also appreciated having a crock pot to cook a slab of ribs. We loved the location inside the barrier dunes. The whole family loved the decks and watching the turtles in the back. We would wave our arms and 60 turtles would show up.

It is a short walk to the beach. The rental came with a cart but we didn’t need it.  It is right next to St. Joseph Park. Here you can rent kayaks and go out to the bay. Don’t take the dogs to the park.

In Barrier Dunes, we enjoyed taking our dogs and seeing other people with their dogs. The neighborhood even leaves a supply of doggie bags for everyone to clean up after them making it more enjoyable to everyone. The beaches are white and clean!!

​We loved making a fire on the beach the last night of our stay, playing music and dancing! If you are into horseback riding, call Sand and Spur!! Get your bags packed and enjoy this area along with Port St. Joe and Apalachicola!! Plenty of shrimp and oysters to go around.
